Aerotow Plane with FK9

Since 9 October 2001 it is possible in Germany to tow gliders with ULs. At present the selected ultralight models are undergoing approval procedures. In the
course of wide-ranging towing tests, the FK9 Utility proved that it can provide very good towing capabilities for even up to the larger double-seated machines. This would suggest a
possible rapid conclusion of the approval process.
Our Mk3 Utility type incorporates the possibility for more and more clubs to replace their motor gliders with a faster and more
comfortable ultralight aircraft at more economic conditions. If this could also close the gaps for towing operation, the integration of the ultralight concept in the clubs and
associations would have taken a great step forward.
